The goggles would blink at a pre-determined freq. during the zero-g portion of the flight. During zero-g we would do sit-ups in the chair. The blinking goggles were supposed to counter act motion sickness. They've done studies on the ground in cars that show the goggles help prevent sickness. They wanted to see if it worked in zero-g too."
